Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar commissioned a Liquid Oxygen plant at Nigerian Air Force Base Yola on Monday, July 10.
According to the information provided, commissioned plant has the capacity to produce 1000 litres of Liquid Oxygen every 8 hours, more than required for NAF operations.
This is expected to enhance the operation of the air force especially in its fight against terrorism.
"The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, is today commissioning a Liquid Oxygen plant at Nigerian Air Force Base Yola.
"The Liquid Oxygen (LOX) plant will enhance the operational capability of the NAF by ensuring steady supply of LOX for use by fighter pilots.
"Liquid Oxygen is critical for the survival of our fighter pilots especially during high altitude manoeuvres.
"The newly commissioned plant has the capacity to produce 1000 litres of Liquid Oxygen every 8 hours, more than required for NAF operations."
