Nigeria,Delta State Chapter Commends Okowa
Developmental Strides

Union of Tipper and Quarry Employers of Nigeria,
Delta State Chapter, has commended the
executive governor of the State,Senator Dr Ifeanyi
Okowa for the giant strides he is taking to
develop the state.The union gave the
commendation during the recent visit of its state
Chairman, Comrade Chukwudumebi Eluaka to
Agbor, where he met with both the Ika North East
and Ika South Local Government Areas executives
of the union.
Comrade Eluaka while speaking during the visit
said,"my union is very grateful and thankful to
dear governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for all
the good work he is doing in the state.We are
strongly behind him,we will work towards his re-
election in 2019 because he is a good leader. As
a registered Union, affiliated to Trade Union
Congress, (TUC),Union of Tipper and Quarry
Emplowers of Nigeria will continue to unite and
bring all tipper drivers and quarry operators in our
area together. As employers of labour, we will not
stop to contribute positively to the development
of our state. Each of our members who drives a
tipper has six persons(the driver,conductor and
four loaders)who earns their daily bread from
him.This however explains that if we have one
hundred and fifty tipper owners(drivers) in a local
government we have automatically created nine
hundred jobs in that local government"
Speaking in the same vein,the Ika South Chairman
of the Union, Comrade Ndidi Okoagbor,thanked
Governor Okowa for the roads his administration
has constructed in Agbor and environs.He listed
the roads to be Alisimie-Oza-Nogogo -Omumu
Road,Charles Street, Upper Imudia Street,Orikeze
Avenue and other link roads in the area,saying
government has through her road construction
projects saved them from the dangers of driving
on deplorable roads.
On his part, the Chairman of the Union in Ika
North East,Comrade Wisdom Egbai expressed
gratitude to Comrade Chukwudumebi Eluaka for
the visit and also, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the
people oriented projects he has executed in Ika
land, declaring that his Union is solidly behind the
governor and will work tirelessly for his re-
election in 2019 gubernatorial election.
