The Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), on Friday, matriculated a total of 1,823 for the 2015/2016 academic session. The Vice Chancellor speaking during the event, advised the matriculants to be security-conscious due to crime increase in the country. According to him, out of a total of 2,340 students that were admitted in the 2015/2016 academic session only 1,823 were cleared for matriculation. He equally advised the students to avoid getting involved in acts that can jeopardize their studentship.
